Who we are

Four commodities. One promise: what leaves our facility is exactly what your contract says.

Sunrise Commodity Nigeria Limited is a Nigerian sourcing and export company. We work directly with farmer clusters and charcoal producers — no layers of middlemen — bring every crop to our own facility for drying, cleaning and grading, and handle the export paperwork ourselves. You get one accountable counterparty from farm gate to bill of lading.

Cashew, soybeans, sesame and charcoal each have their own season, their own processing and their own numbers — and we quote all four on the specifications international buyers actually trade on.

Something is always in season.

Four crops, four calendars — so there is rarely a month when we have nothing to load.

Why Nigeria · why Ogbomoso

The sun does the work. We make sure it reaches you.

Nigeria sits where the West African savannah meets the forest belt: long, reliable sunshine, well‑drained soils and a dry season that cures crops naturally. Cashew trees planted around Ogbomoso decades ago now produce some of the largest, densest nuts on the continent. Further north, the same climate gives sesame its oil and soybeans their protein — and dense hardwoods their long, clean burn.

Quality & documentation

Quality you can audit, not just admire.

Every quotation comes with the numbers behind it, and every shipment with the papers your bank, customs and buyers expect.

What we test before you pay a deposit

Samples are drawn from across the lot, not the top of the bag. Results and photographs are shared before contract.

  • Raw cashew: cutting test for kernel outturn (lbs / 80 kg), nut count per kg, moisture, defective and foreign‑matter percentages.
  • Kernels: grade count per lb, moisture, broken and scorched percentages, colour.
  • Sesame: purity, oil content, moisture, free fatty acid, admixture.
  • Soybeans: protein, oil, moisture, foreign matter, damaged and split beans.
  • Charcoal: fixed carbon, ash, moisture, volatile matter, size distribution.
